You and Lion agree that any controversy or claim arising from or pertaining to the use of this website shall be governed by the laws of New Zealand. You submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New Zealand.

Referring a Friend

  • The email to a friend should only be sent to New Zealand residents, aged 18 years or over.
  • Email addresses of ‘friends’ will not be held, stored or used for any purposes other than for the entrant to invite them into the competition via the promotion web site.
  • In accordance with the Unsolicited Electronic Messages Act 2007 you are required as a sender to ensure that any recipient of the message consents to receiving it. By emailing a person using the Speight’s website you are confirming any recipient is a friend of yours and that any friend you send a message to has consented to receiving the message.
  • By hitting the “Submit” button you are confirming that any recipient is a friend of yours and that you have your friend’s consent to send them the message.

On Pack promotion NZ International Sevens – Full Terms and Conditions

  1. Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these terms and conditions. By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
  2. Entry is open to residents of New Zealand who are 18 years and over. Employees and their immediate families of the Promoter and its agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter.
  3. To enter (and to claim your prize):
    • purchase a marked promotional pack of Speight’s Summit 12 bottles;
    • locate the unique code printed on the inside of the pack and enter that code on-line at www.summitlager.co.nz;
    • when you enter the unique code on-line, you will also be required to register your details (including a valid mobile phone number) so that you can be contacted if you have won;
    • all valid entries will go into the daily prize draws for one pack of 4 tickets to the NZ International Sevens event ("NZ International Sevens Prize") up until 15/01/2012 and thereafter, two second chance prize draws for one Speight's branded cap ("Merchandise Prize"). Unique codes may only be entered once and will qualify for entry into all prize draws conducted during the promotion period, however winning unique codes will be taken out of the entry pool.
  4. The promotion commences on 15/11/2011 and closes on 28/02/2012. No entries will be accepted after this time.
  5. The prize draws for the NZ International Sevens Prize will take place on a daily basis commencing on 15/11/2011, with the last draw taking place on 15/01/2012. The NZ International Sevens Prize consists of one pack of 4 tickets to the NZ International Sevens event which will take place on or around 3rd/4th February 2012 (total approximate value NZ$720 per pack, NZ$180 each). There will be 62 NZ International Sevens Prizes given away in total.
  6. The prize draws for the Merchandise Prize will take place on 03/02/2012 and 29/02/2012. The Merchandise Prize consists of one Speight’s branded cap, (total approximate value NZ$20 per cap). There will be 100 Merchandise Prizes given away in total (50 Merchandise Prizes per draw).
  7. Winners will be notified by phone call within 2 working days of the relevant draw. Once the winners have been contacted, a list of the winners may be made publicly available including via the Speight's Summit website, Facebook and/or email communication. Winners of the NZ International Sevens Prize who cannot be contacted by 27 January 2012 or winners of the Merchandise Prize who cannot be contacted by 30 March 2012 after reasonable efforts by the Promoter will forfeit the prize and no financial or other consideration will be given to the forfeiter.
  8. Prizes will be couriered to winners at the address which was registered upon entry within 10-14 working days after the relevant draw.
  9. The winner of the NZ International Sevens Prize (and any persons who may share the NZ International Sevens Prize) is responsible for all and any other costs associated with attending the NZ International Sevens event.
  10. Prizes are not transferable and not redeemable for cash. The Promoter's decisions are final and binding – no correspondence will be entered into. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for late entries. In the event that any prize becomes unavailable for reasons beyond the Promoter's control, the Promoter may substitute a prize of equal or greater value.
  11. Subject to any applicable law that cannot be excluded, the Promoter and its related bodies corporate, shall not be liable for any loss, damage or injury suffered or sustained (including but not limited to direct or consequential loss or loss arising from negligence) arising directly or indirectly out of or in connection with the promotion or any prize.
  12. All of the NZ International Sevens Prizes are subject to any other third party supplier's terms and conditions, (including, without limitation, the terms and conditions of the NZ International Sevens) and the Promoter and its related bodies corporate are not responsible for any direct or indirect loss suffered by any entrant as a direct result of the conduct of these third party suppliers or participation by any winners in the NZ International Sevens Prizes.
  13. The Promoter assumes no responsibility for any failure to receive an entry as a direct or indirect result of a technical problem of any kind or any traffic congestion on the internet or any website. Entries are deemed to be received at the time of receipt into the competition database, not at the time of transmission by the entrant.
  14. Without limiting the foregoing, the Promoter assumes no responsibility for, and the entrants release the Promoter from, any loss, claim, damage or injury to person or property if, for any reason beyond the Promoter's reasonable control (eg due to computer viruses, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures etc), this promotion is not able to be conducted as planned and/or the promotion's administration, security, fairness or integrity are corrupted or affected. Further, in such circumstances, the Promoter may modify or suspend the promotion and/or invalidate any entries of any individual in any way involved in interfering or tampering with the conduct of the promotion or abusing the communication system upon which the promotion is being conducted.
  15. Details from all entries will be collected and used for the purposes of conducting this promotion (which may include disclosure to third parties for the purpose of processing and conducting the promotion) and for publicity purposes surrounding this promotion. By entering this promotion entrants consent to the use of their information as described. Entrants may access and/or change their information on-line at www.summitlager.co.nz by logging on, selecting their profile link and following the prompts. The Promoter's privacy policy is available by visiting www.summitlager.co.nz. The Promoter will only use entrants' personal details for marketing purposes outside those described above if entrants "opt in" and join the Speight's Summit mailing list when prompted on the website, otherwise all entries and personal details will be destroyed following the conclusion of the competition.
